Everyone belongs here at Hope, No matter what,
Whether you believe the same things or not!

But, if you're curious,
here are some of the things that we believe:

our vision

Be with Jesus. Receive the love of the Father. Overflow the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

This is the vision the Lord has recently given us, and it shapes everything we do.
We believe that everything begins by being with Jesus. Not striving, not performing, but learning to remain in Him.
From that place, we receive the love of the Father, not as something we earn, but as something freely given through the finished work of Christ.
As we abide in Him and receive from Him, our lives begin to change from the inside out. The fruit of the Holy Spirit becomes evident - not something we force, but something that naturally overflows from a life rooted in Him.
Hope Church is a place for that kind of life. A safe, multicultural, multigenerational family where people can grow, be formed in truth, walk in freedom, and step into all that God has for them.

beliefs

the bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired Word. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21)
the trinity
We believe in one, eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
(Genesis 1:1, John 14:16-17, Matthew 28:19, John 17:11, 1 John 4:16)
sin
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
(Isaiah 59:2, Psalm 51:1-3, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)
salvation
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, as both God and man, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life doing only what He saw His Father do. Jesus died on the cross in our place and rose again to prove His victory and give us victory over sin: empowering us, via His grace, for life.
(Isaiah 53:4-6, John 1:1-14, John 14:6, Colossians 2:13-15, 1 Corinthians 15:20)
forgiveness
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ (be born again) we must turn from our sins, confess, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. In this way we experience life to the fullest!
(John 3:3, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 1:9)
baptisms
We believe that in order to live the holy (set apart) and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches us and enables us to use spiritual gifts including speaking in tongues.
(Mark 16:16, Matthew 3:11, Hebrews 6:2, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Galatians 5:22-23, John 16:8)
gatherings
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for worship, the preaching of the Word, fellowship, prayer, and the “breaking of bread’.
(Matthew 16:17-19, Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:25)
communion
We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers.
(1 Corinthians 11:23-29)
purpose
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church, serve the community in which we live, and go into the world preaching the Gospel.
(John 4:23-24, Galatians 6:10, Ephesians 2:10, Mark 16:15)
blessing
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and whole lives in order to help others more effectively.
(Genesis 3:12, Joshua 1:8, Matthew 8:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 3 John 1:2, 2 Corinthians 9:11)
giving
We believe in tithes that belong to the Lord, offerings that are given willingly, and benevolence that is given to the poor. We believe prosperity is the will of God for everyone and is always to be associated with God’s purpose.
(Deuteronomy 8:18, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 8:9; 9:6-15, Malachi 3:10, Luke 6:38)
eternity
We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
(John 3:36, John 5:28-29, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, Revelation 20:11-15)
the lord's return
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
(John 14:1-3, Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
